CCDC Outstanding Scholar Fellowship

This award is given each year to a very small number of applicants to the CCDC in recognition of their outstanding achievement and promise for future research contributions. Upon their enrollment at UCSB and after starting to work with a CCDC faculty member, the selected candidates will receive a certificate and an award in the amount of $1,500.

CCDC Outstanding Scholars will be selected from the top prospective graduate student applicants for each academic year. To be considered for this award, suitable applicants to UCSB should have clearly expressed in their graduate application a desire to pursue PhD research in the core areas of the Center.

These fellowships are intended to help in recruiting the best prospective graduate students interested in working on topics in Control, Dynamical-Systems and Computation.

Decisions will be made by a committee appointed by the Director of CCDC and will be announced by April 1, each year.
