The Center for Control, Dynamical Systems, and Computation

Welcome to the CCDC at UCSB

Ranked the #3 academic institution for automation and control in the world by the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities, UC Santa Barbara is a fertile environment for control-related research. The Center for Control, Dynamical Systems, and Computation (CCDC) facilitates academic inquiry by bringing together faculty, students, and visitors affiliated with various departments across the UCSB campus. Publications by CCDC members are regularly featured in prestigious journals and conferences.  Courses offered by CCDC professors cover an extensive array of subjects, preparing students for high-quality research.  Our weekly seminar series attracts talented researchers from both industry and academia to speak on diverse topics, and meet students and faculty with similar interests. Additional events, such as lectures, workshops, and social events, allow students to both broaden the scope of their knowledge and foster community.
