This class is intended as a continuation of the 210A (Matrix Analysis basically) class. The text book is Matrix Computations by Golub and van Loan. The goal is to get students comfortable with standard matrix algorithms (LU, QR, SVD, Schur decomposition, etc.) including floating-point issues.
